Weight limits for bamboo poles - 8ft  2" is 66 lbs. Use 3 brackets for support.
Our bamboo poles are made from resin and may have a metal core for stability. For this reason, we do not recommed cutting our bamboo poles. If your installer does decide to cut the pole, please note that the cut end will be hollow and the finial will have to be glued on to complete the installation.
